Day 1 – Arrival in Istanbul

Arrival in Istanbul and meet & greet at the airport. Transfer to your hotel in the city center. The remainder of the day is free to rest after your international flight or take a short walk in the surrounding neighborhood to get a first impression of the city. Day 2 – Old City Historical Highlights (UNESCO Historic Areas of Istanbul)

Today explores the historic core of Istanbul, shaped by the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires over more than fifteen centuries. The tour begins at the Hippodrome of Constantinople, once the center of public life, imperial ceremonies, and chariot races.  Continue to the Blue Mosque, the last major example of classical Ottoman architecture, admired for its harmonious design and refined interior decoration. Day 11 – Ephesus & Surroundings: Classical Ionia

Visit Ephesus, one of the best-preserved classical cities in the Mediterranean world and a major center of Roman Asia Minor. Walk along marble-paved streets past landmarks such as the Library of Celsus, Great Theatre, agora, and bath complexes. Continue to the House of the Virgin Mary, a revered pilgrimage site, followed by St. John’s Basilica, built over the believed burial site of John the Apostle. Overnight in Şirince or Kuşadası.

Day 12 – Aphrodisias & Pamukkale: Art, Power & Nature

Continue to Pamukkale, where white travertine terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal waters cascade down the hillside.
