The tour begins with a drive into the Taurus Mountains to reach Termessos, one of the most impressive and least altered ancient cities in Anatolia. Built by the Pisidians, the city occupies a dramatic natural setting and was never fully conquered by external powers. Visitors explore the ancient theater, temples, civic buildings, and necropolis while enjoying panoramic views across the surrounding landscape. Continue to the Antalya Necropolis Museum, a unique museum experience built directly over the Eastern Necropolis of the ancient city of Attaleia. Opened to visitors in 2023, the site preserves nearly 1,000 tombs dating from the 3rd century BCE to the 5th century CE, uncovered during rescue excavations in the city center. Elevated walkways allow visitors to observe burial structures in situ, while exhibition halls display sarcophagi, grave stelae, altars, glass vessels, coins, jewelry, and funerary objects, offering valuable insight into ancient burial practices and beliefs.
